House Bill 19 Update and Action Working to strengthen safety and quality standards for both regulated and regulated-exempt child care providers, House Bill 19 will impact all Pennsylvania child care providers. However, it has remained untouched and “off the radar” of the Pennsylvania Senate Aging and Youth Committee for almost a year! Advocates, we need to let our Senate know that we want improvement in child care safety and quality standards! We are encouraging all child care providers and advocates, families of young children, and concerned citizens to communicate with the chairs of the Senate Aging and Youth Committee and urge movement on this important bill.
